Lazio hastened the hunger for results in a postponed match

Lazio’s team broke their unbeaten series of 3 championship games without winning and beat Udinese with a 2-0 win in the 25th round of Serie A. A goal of Felipe Kaysedo and Sandro’s own goal before the break provided the important three points for the ” eagles “who lagged behind the top 6 position.

The result sent Simone Indzagi to only a point behind the 6th Atalanta (53 points). Lazio overtook Torino (50 points) and came out in 7th place. Udinese, on the other hand, continued with the winning results and the loss left the team dangerously close to the relegation zone. With 32 points, the Frills are in 16th position, but the 18th Empoli, the first under the line, has only 3 points less than them.

The collision could have gone in a very different way if Agyammad Badu was more accurate in the 21st minute. Udinese’s midfielder shot a very strong shot with a head from the penalty point and aimed the crossbar. The situation triggered a counterattack for the hosts, at the end of which Ciro Immobile with an ingenious corridor brought Felipe Kaysedo to the left in the penalty area. The dark-skinned striker in the far lower corner found the score – 1: 0.

Just three minutes later, any plans of the guests collapsed. Lazio fired a corner to the right of the attack, and the centering transferred four or five people to the nearby beam, including the goalie goalkeeper Juan Mousso. So the ball was on Sandro’s path in the goal field and the Udinese player accidentally hit her in his own net – 2: 0.

By the end of the half-time the Romans had two more opportunities to increase their advance. In the second, already in the sequel, came after a corner kick, which was challenged by Jens Larsen, cleared a shot with the head of Marco Parrolo from the goalie. In centering, Sergei Milinkovic-Savic took the high ball in front of goalkeeper Musso and scored. The judges used the VAR and noticed the game with a Serb hand, which led to the cancellation of the attack.

Udinese had a chance to catch up in the 51st minute when Senad Lulic stumbled into Kevin Laszanna in a very unnecessary manner in the penalty area. State contractor Rodrigo De Paul stood behind the ball and fired at the left corner, but goalkeeper Thomas Strachosha waved in a great way and kept Lazio’s intact.

A quarter hour before the end, Lazio missed another advantageous opportunity created by Immobile. The Taranto took possession of the ball and knocked it against Parrolo, whose bastard’s junk would fly into the corner, had it not been Musso’s intervention.

Four minutes before the end, Parrolo delivered a magnificent centering for Lulic, whose shot missed the goal.

In the next round, “bianco bells” take the last Chievo. Udinese has a home game against the 11th Sassuolo.
